Thanks for the kind words and thoughts y'all, but after 45 years the last 12 being 100% solo with no vacations. No time off, after being shown that I don't bring anything to the table, it's just getting too hard to fight. Please don't offer any "keep your head up." "It'll get better." "Take some time off to take care of you". You just don't understand if you don't have a dying business. Everybody has somebody else taking care of them. What I need is money and there's no way to make it. Nobody has any money now I can't even sell off my stuff because nobody has any money. My dream scenario will be to be able to take a month off after 12 years I think I deserve it. But the Titanic is just slowly pulling me under... I'd have a huge head start at changing everything... But the amount that would take is laughable by most people's standards, is unobtainable to me. I can't make important decisions or take important steps in the condition that my mind is in now. I just want to stabilize that business for summer. Shut down for a month and regroup myself. I can't say that it's not possible, but I can say that it's not probable. Do I have hope? Everyday I get up and make breakfast and I pray and I talk to God.. that tells me that I'm still trying... I'm 60 years old with no savings, and it's kind of ironic than on the back of a dollar bill they put in God we trust. In the last decade, with just my two hands, I've survived: a massive IRS debt that I paid off, 2 surgeries that forced me to close for months at a time each, 3 fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, help the Native Americans are standing Rock, the survivors of the Dylan Roof shooting, closed to do Houston Harvey water rescue, countless smaller charity work at home.. minutes to make and survive through a 60% downturn in covid... More hurricanes... Endless equipment failure and breakage... And now I'm stuck with ungodly product cost increases, and the fact that a third of my customers are federal employees that lost their jobs.. I'm tough but I'm now broken both body and spirit and hope. I need help to get out of this to get this life back on track. To move forward with this life in a different direction"
