Help St Mary's College Boat Club fundraise for a new boat!

Hi all, as St Mary's College Boat Club approaches its centenary year, we'd love to be able to grow our boat club by purchasing a second hand IV.

Although we are one of Durham University's oldest college boat clubs, we certainly aren't the biggest and currently only have one IV (a boat with four rowers), one VIII (a boat with eight rowers) and a double (a boat with two rowers).

SMCBC will be doing a 24 hour ergathon from 10AM - 10AM on the 15th/16th March, with rowers taking it in turns to keep the chain moving on the erg.

Funds raised will go towards purchasing a second hand IV for the club.

With this new boat, SMCBC can get more sessions on the water, widen participation and ultimately enter more races!

A second hand IV will cost several thousand pounds, and so any donation you can spare would be greatly appreciated by the club!
