Jamaica has been deeply impacted by Hurricane Melissa. Homes have been destroyed, communities flooded, and many families are now without basic necessities. While the island is strong and resilient, the damage has left many struggling to access food, clean water, and everyday essentials.

As a community landscaping business with strong ties to Jamaica, I am launching this fundraiser to help gather resources for those who are suffering in the aftermath of the storm. Many people have lost everything — and right now, they simply need help to get back on their feet.

Jamaica is strong, but this storm has left a real hardship behind. With your support, we can make a meaningful difference — one family, one community at a time.

Why This Matters

This effort is deeply personal to me. My name is Collin — a proud Jamaican and a landscaper who has been on Fire Island for the past 15 years. Many of you know me, my work, and how much pride I take in serving this community. You also know my heart and my love for Jamaica.

Seeing the suffering back home has been incredibly painful. Like many Jamaicans living abroad, I feel a responsibility to help however I can. With your support, I hope to put meaningful resources directly into the hands of families who are struggling right now and bring even a little relief during this difficult time.

Hurricane Melissa has left a lasting impact on the lives of many Jamaicans. While recovery will take time, even small gestures of support can bring comfort and relief to families trying to rebuild their lives and homes.
