Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My family in Jamaica recently lost everything—their homes, business, and belongings—due to a devastating disaster, Hurricane Melissa. They currently reside in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, where they received the hardest blow. They have nothing left and are struggling to find food, clothing, and, for the most part, a safe place to stay as there are no available materials to replace roofing .

Their homes were a place to many aunts, uncles, and multiple young children, some under 3 years old.

One of the most heartbreaking parts of this tragedy is my aunt’s situation. She is both deaf and mute, and her home was completely destroyed. Everything she owned is gone, and she has nowhere to turn. We are also trying to make sure we can provide first aid supplies and medication for those who need.

We are trying to raise funds to help rebuild their homes, replace essential items, and provide food and shelter while they recover. Every dollar will go directly to helping them get back on their feet.
