This weekend we will be travelling to Sri Lanka for a week. Towards the end of our journey, we will be making 3 stops to help these children.

I've reached out to many local contacts and have identified 3 locations where we can make an impact and have asked specifically what they need.

"One of our sisters is a teacher, she teaches at Mara/ Hemachandra Gunasekara School in Mudugamu. She said that there are 216 children there. Many children do not even have food. It was also said that some children would collapse during the morning school sessions. The reason is lack of food. The children come to the school only to eat once a day because the government provides lunch to that school."

To directly help families and children in the current crisis. We are raising money to purchase essential items for families to eat & help keep their children in school.

The current crisis has plunged hundreds of thousands more families into poverty this month alone.

Many are barely surviving on one meal a day, and many have taken their kids out of school as they cannot afford to educate them any longer. There is a drastic fuel shortage which also means many cannot work, resulting in skyrocketing unemployment.

$21 will feed a family for a week, keep their children in school and provide emergency medical attention. Please give anything you can to impact the lives of poverty-stricken families in real-time, this week. Much love.

We have 3 suitcases full of school supplies and will be purchasing more there. Your donation will be used to go directly to purchasing food supplies locally and distributing to the 216 children. Which we will deliver directly.
