Help Sravan Fight Stage 4 Cancer

This GoFundMe campaign is started to support sravan in fighting against cancer. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer this week.

Sravan is a 24-year-old male, who completed his master’s recently and is in job search trials expecting a wonderful journey ahead. Unfortunately, he has been admitted to the hospital with abdominal pain and intractable vomiting 10 days ago. He had an upper GI endoscopy and biopsy which confirmed stomach adenocarcinoma which left us in shock.

The oncosurgical team at Medical City Dallas hospital did an exploratory laparotomy which showed obstructed metastatic transverse colon, needing hemicolectomy. He also was found to have extensive cancer in the stomach, pylorus, and going on to the pancreas. The surgeon recommended some sessions of chemotherapy prior to the second surgery to remove the primary tumor, after this first operative recovery.

Sravan is underinsured and will need monetary help for treatment and post-operative care during recovery.
