Meet Squidward!

Squiddy is a 4 month old pup that I am currently fostering. He was left at the shelter with 6 of his siblings a little over a month ago. All of his brothers and sisters have been in foster care or adopted over the last month, so Squiddy has been by himself in the shelter for a while now.

Sadly, Squid has a severe heart murmur and needs surgery to fix it. The procedure is called a balloon valvuloplasty and costs from $5500-8500. This surgery will really extend his life expectancy and improve his quality of life significantly. He’s currently eligible for adoption with a medical disclaimer. Some friends of mine are hoping to adopt him, but they’re hoping to figure out a plan for his procedure before making things official.
