Hello Everyone! This is my sweet angel: Squeek. I rescued Squeek three years ago. He had been a neglect case who, unfortunately, was a stray for the first 10 years of his life, only to be adopted and have his owner pass away a few short weeks later. The rest of the story is too heartbreaking for me to share. Although I was very firm in only having one cat (Kitty), one night a gut feeling told me to check the shelter's websites... just to browse. But as soon as I saw Squeek’s intake photo (1st photo), I knew in my heart that Squeek was meant to be with me and Kitty.

As you can see, Squeek was not in the best shape, having gone through eyelid surgery and extractions of all but 4 of his teeth, along with (at the time) undiagnosed Irritable Bowel Disease and the consequences of that. In the last two years, I have given Squeek all the love he deserves and too many kisses! Seeing his eyes soften and his personality come out in the last two years has been a beautiful blessing.

Squeek is an angel with a tender heart, a deep love for his moody brother, and a need to always protect me while I am in the bathroom.

I have made it a priority for all of Kitty’s life and Squeek’s life with me to supplement their health through good nutrition, frequent vet checkups, and additional supplements for dental and immune health. Unfortunately, a few of Squeek’s remaining teeth have nonetheless decayed and need to be removed. I am unfortunately not able to gather the funds to proceed with the operation as soon as possible to prevent further infection and decay. I am asking for the help of my community and pet lovers in getting Squeek the care he needs.

Asking for “handouts” is not something I do, or came to the acceptance of my need for it easily, so thank you truly to anyone who donates.
