His biggest at home expense of being out down at home is covered! Anything donated from here on out will be going towards medications (around 180 per week) and his followup vet visits. we can get it from here if we have to! From here on out, any donations would be helping us, versus absolute necessity- I just want to be super transparent about this!

I can’t Thank each and everyone of you enough.

This is Spyro,

He is 14 years old, and my best friend. He was recently diagnosed with terminal liver failure, and I am trying to raise funds to help with the cost of putting him down at home, and some of his further vet bills.

Spyro has many friends all across the USA, and is a ray of sunshine in my life, there have been points where he was all I had. He has loved me at my worst, and loved me at my best, and everything in between. When we got the diagnosis three weeks ago., I was glad we had a savings for him, but that has ran out. I knew instantly that I dont want him to be put to sleep in a vets office, they are cold and scary, and he has been in and out of the vets office since all this has began. I want him at home where he is comfy and happy, and surrounded by love. The cost of this will be $680.00 dollars for that and cremation. I am setting the goal at 1,000 to help with that, and his future vet visits. His next appointment is on December third, and we are getting bloodwork done again to see how fast this is progressing. The reality of this situation is that I could take him to Nashville, 3 hours away, and stay multiple nights to get a biopsy done on his liver and other invasive surgeries, but with his age there is a chance that he might notwake up from them, and that would mean his last moments would be scary and alone= and I dont want to do that. I know times are tough for everyone right now, especially with everything going on politically, but if anyone is willing to help even a tiny bit, it would be greatly appreciated. He is going to the vet every other week right now, each visit is 180.00 dollars with blood work done.

Im having a really hard time going to work lately, because I feel like I may be missing my last moments with him, so while I am working my normal schedule I haven't been mentally able to pick up many extra hours.

UPDATE I did some numbers today and changed the goal to 1,200

after that I will be closing this because everything else we should be able to cover

I appreciate all the help and kindness that has been shown here in not even 24 hours. The relief I felt this morning was astronomical, genuinly a weight off my shoulders. At this exact moment, I know for sure he will be able to pass at home surrounded by love and comfort and that is more than I had yesterday. Thank you all so fucking much.
