A week ago, my son and I witnessed something heartbreaking: someone threw an English bulldog puppy from a jeep onto the concrete and drove away. We rushed to help and brought him home, determined to give him the care and love he desperately needed. We named him Spud, and since then, we've been doing everything we can to nurse him back to health.

Unfortunately, Spud suffered a hernia from the injury, and despite our best efforts, it has gotten much worse instead of better. He’s now unable to move around much because of the swelling, and our vet has told us that he needs urgent surgery to recover. The cost is much more than we were expecting.

The original plan was to find Spud a new home, but after everything he’s been through, we’ve decided to keep him and care for him ourselves. We want to give him the safe, loving home he deserves.
