Hello all! My name is Hope and I’m looking to the community for a little bit of assistance.

My wonderful rescue dog named Spud was diagnosed with mast cell cancer. He is a lovely 4 year old lab mix of sorts, and he’s such a joy in my family’s life. The surgery itself costs around $750 including a blood test and getting the tumor tested for further severity and prognosis. Our household has been down on its luck financially due to unforeseen circumstances and there’s large concern in paying for the surgery cost. While I have applied for pet insurance due to another health concern my other dog has been having, it won’t go into effect in time for this surgery or apply to pre-existing conditions. 

I never could have imagined that something like this would happy to my sweet, wonderful boy. It would mean the absolute world to me to be able to get this surgery taken care of and get many more years with him. Any little bit would be so graciously appreciated <3
