My name is Rex Chen, and I’m raising funds to found a kendo club as we work to grow and train in the way of the sword.
Kendo, the Japanese martial art of swordsmanship, is not just about physical skill—it’s about discipline, respect, and constant self-improvement. Our club is soon to be full of passionate and dedicated members, but kendo equipment can be quite expensive.
We’re currently looking to raise money to purchase essential items like shinais (bamboo swords), tenugis (traditional towels worn under the helmet), and other kendo gear to help support both beginners and more experienced practitioners in our club.
Any amount you can give—no matter how small—is deeply appreciated. Your support helps us keep the spirit of kendo alive and thriving in the Diamond Bar High School community. Thank you so much for your generosity!
