Hey everyone. Unfortunately our little buddie Spooky has had a some bad luck, and we could really use your help getting him feeling better. We've been managing bills so far with the help of my parents, but now that we have a little more information, we realize the costs are going to be much higher than expected. 

Last week, Spook tried to hop on our bed, but fell off of his step. We could tell he was in pretty severe pain, so we rushed him to Emergency.  They gave him some pain killers and told us to take him to our vet on Monday to properly check him out. He had blood taken and X-rays done, and his doctor sent us home with antibiotics. That was about $1000 already.

Over the last week, his appetite has dropped due to the medication to the point where we brought him to our vet. The vet recommended an animal hospital in Toronto, where we brought him to their Emergency room. As of now they are concerned about his back, as well as his lymph nodes. They assure us he has lots of life left in him, and he's slowly bouncing back!

Right now, Spooky is waiting to get an MRI and another test to confirm the doctors' concerns. We'll then have to decide if medication or surgery is the ultimate result. Either way, the estimates in a worst case scenario add up to about $ 10 000. 

That is an insane amount of money, and we don't understand why animal healthcare is so expensive, but we love this little furry butt more than anything. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. I personally will be selling off some of my equipment, as well as some of the merch I've collected over the years, to aid in the cost.
