Spooky is my skittish, sweet cat who has slowly learned to trust me since I adopted him at three months old. Over the years, he’s shown his affection in his own special ways—rubbing up against me and even showing his belly. He’s also formed a close bond with his cat brothers, and they mean everything to him.
Recently, Spooky faced a serious health crisis. He developed a blockage and was diagnosed with cystitis, which meant he had to spend three days in the hospital. After they removed his catheter and he peed once, the vets sent him home. Sadly, less than 24 hours after coming home, he’s now showing the same worrying signs of another blockage, and it looks like he’ll need to go back to the hospital for more treatment. The cost for another stay is overwhelming, and we simply can’t afford another bill after already paying for his first emergency.
The funds raised will go directly toward Spooky’s second hospital stay and treatment. The more support we receive, the longer he can stay at the hospital and get the care he needs. We don’t want to risk his life by having to discharge him early just because we can’t afford it. This situation came out of nowhere, and we had no time to prepare. We’re completely tapped out and asking for help to give Spooky the best chance at recovery. Any support would mean the world to us and help save his life.
