Help Spooky Fight Intestinal Cancer and Stay with Victor

Spooky, a sweet 15-year-old cat, has been Victor's best friend and constant companion for over a decade. Spooky was left as a kitten on Victor's doorstep by local neighbourhood cats, and from that moment, Victor became his dad. Over the years, Spooky has been a source of love and comfort, especially after the loss of his sister, Scrit, last year. He's also been a caregiver in his own way, helping Victor through his struggles with IBD and grief.

Recently, Spooky was diagnosed with a tumour on his small intestine. Despite being diabetic, Spooky is otherwise in perfect health, which makes this diagnosis even more heartbreaking. The tumour is growing, and without treatment, Spooky may not make it to Christmas. Victor is exploring all options, including surgery, chemotherapy, or a biopsy to determine the best course of action. However, the costs are overwhelming: a CT scan is €1,500, surgery ranges from €1,500 to €3,000, and chemotherapy could cost €600–€800 per session.

I've known Victor through mutual acquaintances, but over time, we've developed a sibling-like relationship. I've seen firsthand how much Spooky means to Victor and how devoted he is to giving Spooky the best care possible. As Victor's friend who cares deeply about both him and Spooky, I'm reaching out to our community for support during this difficult time.
