Spooky is only 11 months old. She’s brought so much light into our lives with her quirky personality and affectionate cuddles. Over the past month, her health began to decline rapidly. After multiple vet visits, an emergency hospital stay, extensive testing, and bloodwork, we received the devastating news: Spooky likely has FIP. The good news is that there’s a treatment that can save her. It’s a medication called GS-441524 that must be given daily for 84 days. We’re working with a veterinarian and a compounding pharmacy to provide the medication.

Due to how advanced her symptoms have become, her dosage is higher, which means it is more costly. But the cost has been staggering:
• Emergency vet visit and diagnostics (Ultrasound, blood panels, and PCR testing): $2,280
• Daily GS-441524 medication: potentially $1,000+ total 
• Ongoing vet visits and monitoring: $2,000 and up
