HISTORY: In the Summer of 2014 my Papa (aka grandpa) was watching the FIFA World Cup and Brazil was playing. After just several minutes of watching it, I was inspired by the Brazil team to play soccer. Ever since then my Papa would train me in soccer so I could increase my soccer skills because I loved the sport and wanted to be really good at it. I have participated on many small teams but I am mostly self-taught. I wanted to find a club that can guide me to be a better player and to have a future in soccer.
Last year, my dad found ICEF (International Center of European Football) which is an Academic and Soccer Academy in Evian, France that provides professional soccer training and preparation to equip students with the tools to play at the highest levels of the soccer world in additional to preparing students for college. I tried out for ICEF in Miami in early March 2020 and found out that I had been accepted and then COVID-19 shut down the world.
In the beginning of April 2021 I had a Zoom meeting with the Education and Assistant Coach. I was able to see the facility and spoke to current ICEF students. I knew this was the place I wanted to be. I have been officially accepted to attend ICEF and start on September 2, 2021. This program is only for high school students and this will be the last chance for me to attend.
ABOUT ME: I am a very focused and determined 16 year old. I excel in academics, am dedicated to my sport of soccer, am willing to do what is necessary to accomplish my life, educational, and athletic goals, and love my family dearly (in addition to my sister and grandparents, I have 4 aunts and 12 cousins, and my dog, Noah.)
MY ASK: I am asking for sponsors to help me help my parents with the cost of allowing me to attend the 10 month program. My parents have always been supportive of my goal to become a Professional Soccer Player and they are both hardworking individuals. I want to try to help them because I do not want them to sacrifice to the point they are in financial hardship. The cost is 57,000 Euros.
