My name is Ahmad Mohammed Awad, I am 39 years old, I work as a graphic designer and in other related fields.
My family consists of 5 including me and my wife Dina 36 year old . We have 3 children; the oldest is Zain who is 12 years old, my beautiful girl Dana who is 8 years old and the youngest little angel Wateen who is 18 months old whom I haven’t seen since the genocide started in October of 2023.
I had left Gaza right before 4 months the bombardment for work in the West Bank and couldn’t not get them out since October of last year due to the extremely expensive cost of getting them out. We were having a good life before the war.
Now my house is completely destroyed and is in unlivable condition.
My wife and children are now in Khan Yunis living in a makeshift tent built with whatever materials they could find. Now that the winters are getting harsh again, we need extra donations to ensure they have a warm, safe place against the cold. Their previous tent had fallen apart from flooding due to the strong wind and rain which leads to my children constantly being sick.
My entire family is suffering every day from shortage of food, water and basic daily life necessities while I’m stuck in a different city unable to help them. It is very dangerous every day because of the bombings and they are lucky to survive. I hope you can help me to reunite with my family outside of Gaza in a safe place like the other children who were able to leave. The cost of evacuating each member of the family to outside of Gaza is $12,500 USD and for 4 members the total cost will be $32,000 USD to cover the cost of plane tickets and other expenses.
Current donations will go to buying supplies for a tent, paying for food and water, and thick clothing for the weather. Once the Gaza boarder open again the first thing I hope to do is evacuate my family with your help and support.
