Help Sponsor Migrant Youth for Summer Art Camp

PCCCArts' goal is to eliminate the opportunity gap created by limited access to the arts in schools by providing safe, community spaces for young people to engage in creative processes. Through after-school programs, in-school residencies, and Summer Camps, PCCCArts has increased accessibility to art education throughout Chicago impacting over 1,000 students since 2021.

Migrant families are arriving in Chicago by the bus loads and PCCCArts has partnered with the Pilsen Food Pantry to give youth a head start as these families adapt to their new environment. PCCCArts is opening enrollment to migrant youth for summer art camp at the new pantry facility. PCCCArts Summer Camp will run June 19th - August 6th, Monday-Thursday for students in grades K-8. Students will have the opportunity to engage in visual arts, photography and music classes under the instruction of professional teaching artists.

Your support will be used to cover all costs associated with summer art camp for enrolled migrant youth, such as registration fees, tuition, art supplies, instructional materials and field trips. An anonymous donor has committed to match 50% of donations up to $4,000. We hope you can help us achieve this ambitious goal!
