The Lane Tech Middle Eastern Club is a self-funded high school dancing group dedicated to developing a culturally accurate and polished dance routine to perform at Lane Tech’s International Days taking place on March 6th and 7th. This club features twenty-two 15 to 18 year old girls, all committed to working towards a common goal. This goal requires the team to have a professional choreographer and dance studio space. The fees that come with this are paid for by the members themselves, however, the costs can come to take a financial toll on the high schoolers.
Any funds raised here will be used to ease these effects, going towards decreasing the girls’ monthly dues (our choreographer, Rose, and our studio rental, Dance Connections). They will also be used towards costumes and team necessities.
