Spielberg is our sweet Bombay cat, and anyone who has met him knows how special he is. He is gentle, loving, affectionate, and full of personality. He has brought so much comfort and joy into our lives, and right now, he needs your help.

Spielberg is currently dealing with fluid in his abdomen. We are working with our vet to properly diagnose what is happening and figure out the best path forward but we’ve been told it could be cancer, heart disease or something else. We don’t have a way of knowing or seeing if there’s treatment without getting everything done. There are tests, appointments, medications, and care decisions ahead, and we want to give him the best possible chance while also keeping him comfortable through every step.

This sudden health crisis has been especially hard because it comes just a month after Mickey had his first tonic clonic seizure in 11 years. The uncertainty and worry have been overwhelming. We are already carrying a lot emotionally, and now we are trying to stay strong for Spielberg too. The future is uncertain, but Spielberg is showing us that he wants to fight. We can see it in him. He still wants love. He still wants comfort. He still wants to be here. Because of that, we want to give him every fair shot we can.

We are raising funds to help cover Spielberg’s veterinary bills, diagnostics, treatment, medication, and comfort care. Every contribution will help ensure that Spielberg gets the best possible care and a chance at a healthy future. We are doing everything we can, and have already maxed-out our credit cards, but the costs are adding up quickly, and we need help to give him the support he deserves.
