Help Me Represent Team USA at the 17th Sanda World Championships in Brazil!
Hi everyone,
I’m honored to share that I’ve been selected to represent the United States at the 17th World Wushu Championships this year in Brasília, Brazil—competing in Sanda (Chinese Kickboxing) against the best fighters from around the globe.
This is a dream opportunity, but I need your help to make it possible.
Why I’m Asking for Support:
In many countries, Sanda athletes get paid monthly salaries by their governments, have access to full-time training facilities, travel fully funded, and even receive massive cash prizes just for making the podium.
However, Team USA athletes are 100% self-funded. That means:
- We receive zero government funding — no monthly stipends or training salaries
- We train at a world-class level while also holding down jobs or going to school
- We pay out of pocket for everything — travel, lodging, registration, gear, medical, and more
- No prize money from national organizations
We pay to compete against fighters who do this for a living.
We represent our country because we love the sport—not because we’re paid to do it.
I’m training every day, pushing my limits physically and mentally, and I’m committed to representing the U.S. with pride. But the costs are high.
