Help Specs' Bar Survive Shutdown and Reopen

To our dear friends and patrons of Specs,
If you found us here through our old fundraiser or are just discovering us now, greetings! We are reaching out again to ask for help as we are now eleven months into our closure with no guaranteed reopening date in place.
Unfortunately, at this time we are continuing to remain shuttered and are not in the position to offer outdoor dining, as it is not a risk we are able to take financially and we are also not able to do so given our limited access to outdoor space. We are continuing to pay monthly and high one-time bills including utilities, rent, city fees/taxes, insurance, and anticipated reopening costs when the time comes including inventory, repairs and safety preparedness for COVID-19, and lastly getting our staff back on to payroll. The donations received from this campaign will go directly toward all of the expenses listed above, and help us tremendously in our survival through the remainder of this shutdown.
We know it is an extremely difficult and insane time for everyone, and the support and love you have shown us over the past many months of our closure has been overwhelming. We are sharing this new fundraiser in hopes that we may receive some more support in the final months that we are unable to open for indoor service. It has been an incredibly tough time but we are SO determined to make it through this and be there for you again when this is over.
