For the past 20 years, I have dedicated myself to Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) in my neighborhood, working to keep the local feral cat population healthy and under control. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to provide these cats with care, food, and a safe place to live. Recently, it’s become much harder to get help from the Huron Valley Humane Society, as their TNR program is full and there are long waiting lists. This means I have to wait months for appointments and care for the cats after trapping. You can’t predict when you’ll be able to catch them so must catch them ahead of time.
Right now, there are six feral cats in my neighborhood that urgently need to be spayed or neutered and vaccinated. I want to make sure they don’t contribute to the growing population and that they can stay healthy and safe in their colony. Since I can’t rely on the usual TNR resources, I’m taking them to my own vet, but the costs are more than I can manage alone.
That’s why I’m reaching out for help. Every donation will go directly toward the vet bills for these six cats, covering their spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations. Your support will make a real difference for these animals and help me continue caring for them. Thank you so much for any help you can give—your kindness means the world to me and to the cats who depend on us.
