3rd Spay Campaign. Location Berat: Help Us Spay 50 Female Dogs and End the Cycle of Suffering
Berat is home to hundreds of stray dogs struggling every single day. They face hunger, disease, car accidents, and cruelty. The suffering is endless unless we act at the source. The only humane and lasting way to stop it is through spaying.
This is our third spay campaign. Thanks to previous campaigns, we have been able to reduce the number of strays and unwanted litters in smaller towns. Now, we aim to continue that progress by spaying 50 more female dogs. Each surgery costs 50 euros, and every single one matters.
Spaying is proven to be the most effective way to reduce the stray population. A single unspayed female can give birth to up to 40 puppies in a year, and many of those puppies will grow up on the streets, suffering from starvation, injuries, and disease. By spaying one female, we prevent hundreds of future lives from being born into pain and neglect.
In Berat, the stray population is out of control, and animal abuse remains alarmingly high. Many dogs die from being hit by cars, from untreated illnesses, or from pure neglect. We rescue as many as we can, but the only real way to stop the suffering before it begins is to prevent the births from happening in the first place.
Our goal is 50 spays at 50 euros each, for a total of 2,500 euros. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a huge difference. Each spay gives a female dog a healthier life and prevents countless others from being born into a world of pain.
Please consider donating to support this campaign and help us continue making Berat a safer, kinder place for animals. Together we can make real, lasting change, one spay at a time.
