Donation protected
The John Randolph Tucker High School Robotics Team, Sparky 384, needs your Help Immediately!
With Team 384's 20th year underway, Sparky 20 has been built and competition has begun. We can't do this without the generous help of our sponsors and families. Your donations help with travel expenses, competition registration fees, and much more!
Sparky’s tradition of success has secured a spot in the FIRST Robotics World Championship which is being held April 24, 2018 to April 27, 2019 in Detroit, Michigan. The cost to cover our registration cost, travel, lodging, and meals is over $5,000.
Our Dream:
Sparky 384 is a student-led organization at J.R. Tucker High School in Henrico County, Virginia that participates in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition. Founded in 1999, we have grown into a multi-cultural team with a rich history of competitive success and international STEM education outreach. Dedicated to fostering a passion for science and technology within our community, we run public outreach programs at local schools and compete in local and international robotics challenges. The team goal is not only to inspire children in Richmond Area, but to inspire people across the world in places such as Haiti, Ghana, Syria, and Uganda.
