Hi everyone, as many of you know Sparkie is my baby! I’ve had her since she was 6wks old and is now 2yrs old and she’s been the light of my life! She learned everything so young, as in potty training, all her tricks, and most of all to be my bestfriend and protector! She’s super sweet, loving and just loves everyone! Recently, she hasn’t been doing well! She has had some expensive vet visits all within a week:( She is having some unsolved neurological problems. She had a physical exam where they tested the nerve in her brain that makes her pupils constrict or go big and they didn’t constrict when they shined a light, which is very abnormal. She has “episodes” where she sways back and forth and acts like she can’t hear us, she has started to forget her potty training, and is very slow when it comes to her favorite toys… We went straight ti the emergency vet on 9/15/23 and found out some horrible news. She has been diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer, and it is spreading rapidly and growing aggressively throughout her body. We did start her on a medication that helps her pain but doesn’t make her get better. She doesn’t have long left but we’re tryna get her to live a lot longer. She is only 2 yrs old and doesn’t deserve this. We will need to start chemotherapy but the doc said it has a 10% chance of her getting better… I wanna take that chance… If she shows that she is just getting worse and is suffering then I really don’t want to do the next step but will have to. So PLEASE ever penny counts!!!
