Hi, my name is Aj, and I’m fundraising to save my cat, Spaghetti.

Today he was diagnosed with diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), which is a life-threatening medical emergency. The vet told me Spaghetti needs to be hospitalized immediately with 24/7 care, IV fluids, constant insulin therapy, and continuous blood monitoring. Without this treatment, he will not survive.

I’ve been doing everything I can at home to keep him eating and comfortable, but DKA cannot be treated outside of the hospital. The estimate for his care is $3,000–$5,000, with $3,000 required up front to begin treatment. I’ve already taken out a loan and received help from two friends friend, but I’m still far short of what he needs.

Spaghetti is my whole world. He’s been with me through every important chapter of my life, and I’m not ready to lose him simply because I can’t afford emergency care fast enough. If you’re able to help — even a few dollars — it could truly save his life.
