Help Soy Bean

Donation protected
This is not an easy post to make but I am asking for help. My name is Alizé and for as long as I remember I have dedicated myself to helping animals and their owners as an animal trainer/ behaviourist (some may know me as the owner of Fairhorsemanship: humane, science-based horse training) and more recently as a canine carer at Dogs Trust. If good karma is a thing I guess right now is when I need to cash in. People that know me will know how awful this year has been for me, leaving my long term partner, my childhood dog dying, both of my parents in hospital, being homeless for over 2 months, a close friend dying, Heros (my elderly horse) being ill and now my cat. My cat which right now feel like everything I have left, for who I would cut my own limb off to pay for his recovery if only this could be pay by blood and tears alone.

Soy bean started being sick sunday evening and after a number of trips to the vets and out of hours hospitalization, he is currently undergoing surgery in Bristol for intersusseption. The current bill is £6,825 which include the £4,100 life saving surgery that was performed last night (22/09) at Langford vets. I am also expecting some additional post op care cost I haven't added to the total yet. Insurance is covering £3000 which leave me with the rest. This is sadly money I do not have, at all, even if I was not to pay rent or eat, I couldn't pay it currently.

>> MEET SOY BEAN

  • While Soy bean does not have unsupervised outdoor time he has always been an adventurer, he loves to go for walks and is leash-trained. He even rode one of my horses on one occasion.

  • Soy bean is smart, he uses communication buttons to nag me for stuff, he is very persistent and most often ask for "outside" "walk" or "food". He also know a bunch of tricks such as stationing, sit, spin, jumping over etc.

  • Soy bean is sweet and friendly with people and other animals. Here he is pictured with Mochi, my ex-partner's kitten, he took to him straight away. He also got a best friend called Tulio with who he goes on walks with.

  • Soy bean is my best friend. I took this picture when we were homeless and sleeping in the back of my van, he would curl up and keep me company and generally would be so easy to deal with considering the circumstances. He was amazingly well-behaved, waiting patiently in the small van while I worked all day.
