Hi, my name is Mackenzie Southwick. My sister unexpectedly passed away on February 4th when she just turned 39 the day before. As you can imagine, our family is devastated and heartbroken. From the day she was born, she always had health problems. She was in the newspaper as a "miracle child" She has always had heart problems and a weakened immune system because of it. Angela and my parents have always driven far distances to see a specialized cardiologist for her doctors appointments. During her childhood, she had about seven surgeries on her heart. Later on in life, she gave birth to her amazing son, Johnathan. In 2011 she became a single mother and moved back to Florida from California to help take care of her son. she has always struggled with mental health, which also led to an addiction, which she fought hard against in her few last years. Angela was a loving and kind-hearted young lady who was always there to support other people, even when she was struggling herself. Since Angela has passed, my parents are trying to support themselves as well as three teenagers in our house while trying to take care of the expenses of her services. We are not asking for a lot, but anything is appreciated and will help.
