My name is Mild, as a Thai person working in marketing and social media, I see how easily crises become just another share or a post on people’s feeds. But this flooding in southern Thailand isn’t just content - it’s real families losing homes, safety, and access to basic necessities. That’s why this matters to me.
Southern Thailand is experiencing one of its worst floods in recent years, 6.5-13ft high. In areas around Hatyai, near Phuket, entire communities have been forced to leave their homes as water levels continue to rise. More than 10,000 families across the region have been affected, with many losing access to clean water, food, medication, and basic necessities.
For many residents, the floods washed away not just their belongings but their sense of safety. Parents are struggling to feed their children, pets, elderly residents are stranded, and hospitals are overwhelmed. Every hour counts.
My team and I are raising funds to deliver essential staples directly to local families, including:
• Rice, Canned Food
• Clean Drinking Water
• Basic Medicine and First-Aid Kits
• Hygiene Supplies
Even a small contribution can help a family get throughout a week:
~10USD can provide clean water for a household for a week.
~30USD can supply rice and canned food for a household for a week.
~50 can can help get basic medicine/first-aid kits/hygiene supplies.
If you are in Thailand and prefer to donate directly, you can send funds to: SONGKLANAKARIND HOSPITAL FOUNDATION
Bangkok Bank Account Number: 641-0-15655-5
Please share this fundraiser widely. Together, we can help southern Thailand recover and bring hope to those who are still waiting for relief. ❤️
