We’re getting ready to represent our community in this well-known all-women’s cross-country air race. Teams of female pilots will fly approximately 2,400 miles during daylight hours, navigating multiple race legs over several days. The Air Race Classic is more than just a competition; it celebrates skill, teamwork, resilience, and the pioneering spirit of women in aviation.

Being part of the Air Race Classic is a dream come true and a great honor for the Southern Sky Magnolias. Competing in this historic event requires extensive training, careful flight planning, aircraft preparation, and travel across the country.
