HELP Southern Pines' Displaced Family of 10 after house fire
Donation protected
Our dear friend Bridgette Roper has recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of her home to a devastating fire.
On May 5th, 2024, a tragic fire engulfed the Bullard/Roper/Baker family residence in Southern Pines, NC, causing the family of 10 to tragically lose their home, all belongings, pets, and precious memories in a house fire.
Bridgette, a single mother, works as a medical technician at a residential treatment facility while raising her 8 children and 1 grandchild at her Southern Pines home.
She has three sons, Derrick Bullard (17), Demonte Bullard (16), and Delontay Bullard (15), who all attend Pinecrest High School. Both Demonte and Delontay serve as members of the Pinecrest football team, Demonte as an outside linebacker and Delontay as a defensive end.
Bridgette also has five daughters and one granddaughter that live with her: Kendra Roper (21), Graceful Baker (13), Zionaah Baker (11), Syakrt Baker (7), Merciful Baker (5), and Analea Allbrooks-Roper(3). Graceful attends Crain's Creek Middle School while the other three daughters attend McDeeds Creek Elementary.
We aim to raise $25,000 to assist Bridgette and her children with temporary housing, clothing, essential items, and eventually securing a new rental home. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.
All donations will directly benefit Bridgette and her children, covering expenses such as temporary accommodations, clothing, personal items, security deposit and rent of a new rental home, and other unforeseen costs resulting from their displacement.
This is an opportunity for our Moore County community to rally together and show solidarity with a family that has consistently been a source of support for others. Your donation or simply sharing this campaign with others can make a meaningful impact. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
