Never has there been a more scarier time for Australian's; our country is on fire. Through the eyes of the elderly to the young, we are all witnessing the devastation of a pristine environment that may take generations to recover. The amount of wildlife that has been lost is heart breaking not to also mention irreplaceable.  An estimated 25,000 koalas have perished (half of the island's population) along with our other beautiful native wildlife. Lives have been lost and homes have been destroyed- memories are all that some people have at this point in time.  We desperately need to support the KI community and give them the best chance at rebuilding.  

Urging people to support SA and donate to the Mayoral Bushfire Appeal to help rebuild our precious Kangaroo Island.  Right now THE most valuable thing the communities need is funding.  All donations go directly to the KI community and this is a community that is in serious need right now.
