Lemme start off by saying that Armando aka Soto is one of the happiest and most loved people that I know.  This guy can have the weight of the world on his shoulders and will still manages to toss a joke at you to brighten your day.  Always has a smile on his face and is a person that you can count on to look at life on the brighter side of things.   I couldn't ask for a better friend in this world. Not to be crass but me and Soto call each other.... "the other nut!"   LOL, one of the things that makes us such good friends is that we both went through different forms of the same cancer.... Testicular Cancer.  Through our respective surgeries I lost my left nut....and of course Soto lost the right.   Soto's cancer was a bit more difficult to treat though, his testicular cancer evolved from Fibrosarcoma.    At the end of  2016 when Soto was diagnosed he went through months of surgeries, radiation, chemo and then rehabilitation.  After many months Soto was able to return to work around the summer of 2017, which was around the time I had gone through my testicular cancer.  So since then we have had an awesome bond.  From the end of 2017 Soto and I both were going to our respective post cancer follow-ups to make sure that our cancers were in check, and as of today I have been clear and so has Soto......until a few months ago. In September of 2019 Soto went to the Dr for a follow-up blood work and scan which revealed two very large tumors.  Since the discovery of these tumors Soto has been in and out of work and at times has had to be home due to the intense chemo treatments he has been undergoing.  He has gone through 2 rounds of chemo and recently has been informed that the tumors have not shrunk and have actually grown.   This will definitely require more time away from work which leads him and his family to deal with the financial burden of trying to live day to day as well as cover the cost of his medical expenses..... I digress to mention that Soto not only is a great friend... he is also a father of 3 wonderful kids and a loyal husband to his wife. Please help us help Soto beat his fight with cancer.   He deserves to keep on spreading the laughs and the smiles and will fight a better fight not having to worry about the financial burden this fight can bring.  Soto has made a huge impact in my life, he’s been there during good times bad times and when things are ok.... the world needs more Armando Soto’s. My prayers are that he can make his test his testimony and give hope to others that may encounter situations like his. I love all of y’all.
