Hello everyone we are asking for help raising funds for my cousin and my beautiful niece. On may 13th Elena was rushed in the ambulance to Barton ER. They diagnosed her with parainfluenza and pneumonia. Elena had to be airlifted to the Pediatric intensive care unit in UC Davis Medical Center. While they were able to treat the parainfluenza, she now has a severe lung infection, with serious inflamed lungs. At this moment in time the doctors have not been able to find the appropriate antibiotics as they are uncertain as to what type of virus has caused this. Elena is currently on a ventilator with very weak lungs. Unsure of how long she will need to be intubated, or how long Elena's recovery will take. Elena is a beautiful, funny, smart, happy tall girl with only 6 years of age. We Thank everyone who can help in anyway through this difficult and unimaginable situation.
