Hello, we are Seasonal Outdoor Service (SOS), a small landscaping company based in Cincinnati, Ohio. For years, we’ve proudly served our community, maintaining lawns, creating outdoor spaces, and building lasting relationships with our clients.
This year has been one of the hardest we’ve ever faced. In just a few months, both of our work trucks broke down and two pieces of commercial equipment failed. What should have been one of our busiest, most productive seasons has instead become a fight to stay afloat.
Over the past two months, we’ve poured everything we had into repairs, rental trucks, payroll, and day-to-day operations. Despite our best efforts, we’ve lost some long-time clients and had to turn down new opportunities. As the owner, the responsibility ultimately falls on my shoulders, but this business supports not only me — it supports my employees, contractors, and their families too.
Right now, a bank loan isn’t an option, and my personal finances are beyond stretched. That’s why we’re reaching out for help: to keep this business alive, get back on the road, and continue serving our community.
How the funds will be used:
1. Truck Costs: Either a down payment on a reliable replacement truck or completing repairs on our current one.
2. Commercial Equipment & Supplies: To repair or replace essential landscaping equipment and tools.
3. Ongoing Operations: To stabilize payroll and operating costs while we rebuild and recover.
Every donation, big or small, goes directly toward saving our business and protecting the jobs and clients that depend on us. If you’re unable to give, simply sharing this campaign with others would mean the world to us.
Owner’s Note:
As the owner of SOS, this business has been my passion and my livelihood for years. I’ve put everything I have into building it from the ground up, and I’ve always taken pride in serving our clients with honesty, hard work, and care.
This journey has reminded me how important resilience, teamwork, and community truly are. The past few months have challenged me in ways I didn’t expect, but they’ve also given me clarity and perspective on how I run my business and my life. I’ve learned, adapted, and grown, and I’m more determined than ever to keep our business moving, support our team, and continue serving our community with pride.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting.
