Help Soroptimist Members Rebuild After Hurricanes
Donation protected

Three members of Soroptimist International of the Southern Region (SI Tampa & SI Pasco) have been displaced by the recent hurricanes, Helene & Milton.
The members, Elsie, Harla, and Stephanie, have lost most of their material possessions, all of their food (perishable and non-perishable), are living in the guest room of friends, have hurricane deductibles to pay (can vary but an average of 3% of the cost of the house), and have months, if not a year, until they may be back in their homes. They need to locate and pay for temporary housing while still trying to work.
Insurance and FEMA are not quick with distributing funds, and some of their claims have already been denied. They have to start a next-level appeal on claims with no idea if their claims will ever be approved or even paid.
Soroptimist members from around the globe have reached out and asked how to help our Soroptimist members directly impacted by these storms. We have created this GoFundMe account for those members who would like, and who are able, to help these three members financially.
Our clubs and community are rebuilding. We know we will persevere. Thank you for your encouragement, support, and strength in numbers.
The funds raised on this platform will be divided equally between the three Soroptimist members named.
