Help Sora's Family Recover from Hurricane Beryl

Good Day everyone! My name is Serena and I am from Utah. I am writing on behalf of my good friend Sora. Her family home was in the midst of Hurricane Beryl on 07/08/2024 in Houston, Texas.

Because of the hurricane, communication is slim for her and she had to drive 20 minutes away from her home to even contact me. (No electricity at home)

Her house was hit with small damages, however her father's garage was massively damaged and almost completely blown away.

The pipes to her home are completely damaged leaving them with no water at all. The damage was caused by the massive tree outside of her home that she desperately wants to get taken down. It's on its last limb and cannot take on another huge storm. If this tree does not get taken care of immediately, it can not only take out her home but also her neighbors home.

Her family unfortunately does not have home insurance that they can rely on at this time because the company they used canceled on them recently.

The funds will be used for the damages her home has faced along with any relief they need during the time. The funds will also be going in removing the tree for both her family and neighbor's safety.

She and her family need the help and would appreciate any help they can get. Thank you!
