I am facing a difficult time after being diagnosed with HIV following a sexual assault, and just two weeks ago, I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism—dangerous blood clots in my lungs and heart. Without insurance, I can't afford the medication I need, which is very expensive. Because I couldn't get the medication outside the hospital, my blood clot grew larger, and I was hospitalized in the neuro ICU. Thankfully, I was sent home with a limited supply of medication, but my health is still fragile. I started a job today, but had to leave early due to heart pain and dizziness. I rely on Uber for transportation, and my living situation is unstable. I have a beautiful black cat who means the world to me, and I want to find a safe, low-income apartment for us.
The funds from this GoFundMe will help me pay for life-saving medication, cover transportation to medical appointments, and help me secure a safe, affordable apartment for myself and my cat. I am doing my best to work and stay positive, but I need help to get through this.
Any support, advice, or donation means the world to me. I am grateful for any help as I try to recover and build a safer life for myself and my cat. Thank you for reading my story and for caring.
