Help Soraia Reach New Heights

Donation protected
“Confessions From The Vena Cava” is ready to come forth into the world, and we need your help to make it happen!

For any new listeners, fans, or casual scrollers: Soraia is not a new, struggling garage band asking for your support to make our first record. We have accomplished much, and consider ourselves professional, lifetime artists. We are expanding in our writing, recording, and production processes. We have to.
As continuously growing artists - we must continue to get more real with ourselves and our fans - but we cannot do this alone.

The only way we can accomplish what we are doing musically - and get to where we are trying to go is WITH YOUR HELP!

Nothing is too small to give. It all matters and every penny will be used to continue creating and releasing our music.
In 2024, we worked with a new producer to create an EP we are so incredibly proud of (and we will be making an album with him again later this year!) When I say we broke boundaries - mainly within ourselves - I'm not exaggerating.
This is the most collaborative record we've ever made. We are so proud.

We are asking YOU - our friends, family, and fans - to be our label.

You are the ones who buy our music, come to our shows, support us online, and share your love for us with others. Our dedicated listeners are 100 % the vital force behind everything we do.
So who would be more perfect to help us usher in a new Soraia era? NO ONE.

Why support us?
We are proud of all we have already accomplished.
We have written and recorded seven EPs and albums, and dozens of singles, on multiple labels. We've been creating music for a little over twenty years now.
We’ve toured relentlessly through the United States, Spain, Sweden, and Germany, and have played in every kind of venue: from tiny punk-club stages to huge, sold-out festivals. We’ve played to 25,000 people, and five people - many, many times.

We've kept our heads above water with the continuous love and support of our friends, family, fans, angel donors, and side-hustles (thanks, DoorDash!) If it weren’t for the support of our tight-knit community and our dedication to what we love, we would've had to quit a long time ago.

We eat, sleep, and breathe music, and always hope that our dedication to it will allow us to continue creating music well into the ripe old age of 101.
As Dylan Thomas once said…

“RAGE, RAGE AGAINST THE DYING OF THE LIGHT!”

As mentioned, we’ve continuously toured and released music. We’ve created and sold merchandise at a breakneck pace.

We are ready for more. It’s time to level up.

Last year, we reached a crossroads: We hadn’t advanced to the level we felt we had worked so hard for. We didn't know where we were going wrong.
That said, we aren’t people that give up.
Making art is in our blood, and we have no choice.
Thus, we knew it was time to begin a new era.
A new Soraia.
Re-inspired and revitalized, we picked up our pens and did what we do best: wrote songs..with a fresh energy I could FEEL.

In the fall of 2024, we flew to Sweden with a handful of songs we believed in to work with legendary producer, Tomas Skogsberg (The Hellacopters, Backyard Babies, Entombed).
With his help, we developed the concept for our new EP. From August to October we recorded five new songs in the studio (between touring!).
A new beginning means it became clear to us that we needed to release this EP independently: uninhibited and without excuse.
With your help, we will release our new EP into the world and head to record Part Two in summer of 2025. In return, we will give all of ourselves to getting these songs to as many ears as possible!
We will take you along the journey – starting right here! – where you can join us as we do all things necessary to bring these songs to the world, and give Soraia the much needed opportunity to reach bigger heights!
From the first single, to radio interviews, to music videos, to media promotion, tour dates, booking gigs, and even the creation of an exclusive, collectible vinyl—you will be an active member of our collaborative journey to reinvention.

Here’s where funds are going:

*Recoup Recording Costs: $10,500
(flights, band meals, lodging, rentals, additional session players, production/mixing/mastering fees - means we will own our music!)
*Vinyl and CD Replication: appx. $4500
(splatter vinyl replication: $3800-4200 + CD replication at $500-1000)
*Tour Support: $5000
(gas, tolls, rentals, flights, lodging, meals - this will go towards tour support but not cover everything)
*Promotional and Ad Campaigns to help us Publicize EP and Tour Dates: $2500
(multiple ad campaigns and social media boosts to assist with promotion of all singles and EP as well as tour dates supporting the new release. This will only partially cover costs.)
*Music Videos and Video Production for Ad campaigns: $5000 (partial assistance)
* Add'l Monies for flights and videos and GFM fees: $2500

If we reach our full $30,000 goal together, we'll perform a year-end live show exclusively for our patrons AND make it available for livestream for those who cannot physically attend, including a live Q and A, and a pre-recorded Q and A!

Let's make this happen.

Art lasts forever, and we want to keep creating in a more engaged way with you. Thanks for reading, and thank you for always supporting and encouraging us.! As a reminder: Nothing is too small to give. Every penny will be used to continue creating and releasing our music.
