Hey everyone! My name is Sophie, I am a first-generation student who is currently a junior in high school. Ever since I was young, I have been passionate about learning and exploring new cultures. My goal is to study abroad, reach higher education, and become successful in life. I recently got accepted into a summer study abroad language and culture program in Tokyo Japan. However, my family is currently going through a severe financial crisis. We are struggling to afford basic necessities like rent and food, which has made the idea of studying abroad feel completely out of reach.

Despite these challenges, I am determined not to give up on my dreams. I love to learn and believe that experiencing education in a new country would open up so many opportunities for me.
