Hello, my name is Sophie LeTourneau. I am 16, and in my third year of German, and will be completing my first year of college German this year!

In the summer of 2026, my German class will be going on a trip to Germany. I have been working hard towards this goal and think going on this trip would benefit me in multiple ways. Learning about different cultures, languages, and getting to see different environments is important to me. We will be traveling across North Germany and visiting a wide variety of beautiful places. On this trip, we will get to experience different kinds of people, transport, architecture, and historical artifacts. For me, German has become an important part of who I am, and seeing Germany for myself will be very constructive for my future with the language and my insights on culture.

While I have been working hard all spring and summer to save on my own, I would like help, as I am also saving for college and a car. I have great plans for my future, and can't wait to experience the world! Please donate if you can, and help support my educational journey.
