Hi! I’m Sophia, and I’m a junior at Georgia State University studying Anthropology & Urban Studies. I have been accepted into a CIS Spring 2026 study abroad semester at Florence University of the Arts in Florence, Italy. I have put countless hours of writing, research, and dedication towards the program’s application process and am extremely excited, as this has been a dream of mine for years. This program would allow me to pursue my passion of Anthropology in a country so well known for its incomparably rich history, iconic tourism, and culture. I'll be taking courses on multicultural studies and history through CIS and Florence University of the Arts, two illustrious and credible programs for international learning.

I am unable to fund this journey on my own, so I'm reaching out for support. Studying abroad would allow me to pursue both my academic and career goals with humanities and culture, as well as have the opportunity to travel, learn about the world, and connect with my personal heritage.

I am asking for any amount of support towards funding my tuition costs, as this is an extremely big step in my journey towards my personal and professional pathways that I alone do not have resources for. Advice and words of encouragement are also greatly appreciated!
