Help Sophia Heal After Terrible Accident

I am Leslie Bertucci and this is my precious niece Sophia Villafranco. She was in a terrible accident last Tuesday morning, October 22, 2024 in Gulfport, Mississippi on I-10. In addition to her vehicle being totaled, both of her legs are broken and she had surgery to repair the 7 fractures in her left tibia, leaving the 4 fractures in her left fibula to heal on their own as well as the fractures in her right leg. She will have to wear the hard fracture boots for 3 months before beginning physical therapy.

Miraculously, she survived this accident without brain or internal injury, but her road to recovery and being able to walk and work again will be long and arduous.

Sophia is a beacon of light to those who know her. She is very energetic and ambitious and worked multiple jobs and freelanced on movie sets doing a lot of the heavy lifting as well as helping people organize their homes, pack to move and move furniture. If anyone asked for help, she was always there.

Unfortunately, Sophia had no medical insurance and the medical bills are mounting quickly and since she is unable to work possibly for the next 6-9 months, she is unable to pay her rent and living expenses.

As Sophia faces this rough road to recovery, she needs help to pay essential living expenses, mounting medical bills and rehabilitation costs.
