Hello my name is Sophia, I am 15 years old and I am a company dancer at Mobile Ballet. I am hoping to raise funds for my 2024-2025 dance season to help my family. In January of this year my mom had her second stroke along with her previous stage 4 liver disease. What has helped me get my mind off things is dancing especially with the loving support of my mobile ballet family. Dancing has helped me so much and I like to describe it as my therapy. My parents are some of my biggest supporters, however, it is hard to balance my mom’s medical bills with my pointe shoes, auditions, competitions, tuition and etc. I would love to follow the professional career as ballet dancer. My teacher recommended put more time and styles of dance and if possible competitions and festivals on top of all our performances of the year so I could get exposed to the possibilities of scholarships for summer

With the expenses that my parents have it will be impossible for me to do it and that is why I am reaching for your generosity ……
