Sophia is a bright, determined 16-year-old who has overcome several obstacles in life and continues to thrive. As her only parent, I have watched her grow into a young woman who is passionate about making a difference. She dreams of becoming a diplomatic lawyer or an immigration lawyer, and anyone who knows her can tell you she loves to argue her point and never backs down from a challenge.

Recently, Sophia was invited to attend an Intensive Law and Trial program at Stanford University for the summer of 2026. This 10-day program is an incredible opportunity for her to learn from professors, experience life on a college campus, and take her first steps toward a career in law. We just received the invitation, and to reserve her spot, we need to put down a deposit by December 10th.

As a single mom, I want to give Sophia every chance to pursue her dreams. We will be working hard to raise the remaining costs, but right now, our focus is on securing her place in this program. I have never seen her so excited about an opportunity, and I am so proud of everything she has accomplished.
