Help Sophia and Jerad start over

Sophi me dijo...

- . - . - . - . - . - . - . -

In early December of this year, Sophi called us to tell us that while they were traveling in the South of Chile with Jerad's family, a giant fire threatened to burn down their home in Ojai, California. All of us who love them began to pray and send good vibes so that miraculously this would not happen... Days later we received the sad news that their house was totally destroyed by the flames.

Sophi told me..."The only thing we have left at this moment are the two suitcases that we brought here, the rest burned." The first things she started naming were those that were priceless, their treasures. Then she began to tell us that they had also lost their cameras and all their work equipment. Since they were abroad they couldn't evacuate, they couldn't save anything...

It is surprising, that despite the tragedy, although they lost a lot, neither one of them has lost that incredible good energy that characterizes them both as a couple and as individuals. Both of them resigned themselves and quickly understood that material things don't matter, what matters is memories. As long as the people you love are well, you can cope. To see them handle this tragedy with such wisdom is really an inspiration to all of us who love them.

Still, everyone, either those who are young or those who have been, know how difficult it is to start building your life, but few are the ones who have had to start all over again from zero. We want to think that if one day that happens to us, our community of family and friends will help us... let's help Sophi and Jerad rebuild the nest they were just starting to form and buy back their working gear so they can keep growing towards the amazing people they are becoming.

Please, help in anyway you can, either sharing or donating.

With Love,

Philip and Lu
