Help Soph Mintz Recover from Camp House Fire Loss

I am raising funds for Soph Mintz, who lost one of her wonderful young sled dogs due to the immediate evacuation and stress of the Camp House Fire in Brimson, MN. Freddy was born at our kennel in the fall of 2022 (Baoya X Crema) and moved up north with Soph and four of our other dogs last fall. She has taken over Wintermoon Summersun after Katleen's passing last spring and is doing an amazing job running the kennel on her own. She is a true dog person with a heart of gold.

We are hoping to help recover the costs associated with the emergency vet care Freddy received early this morning in Duluth on 5/12/2025 where he passed away around 4am.

Soph has temporarily relocated her twenty five dogs (sled dogs) and four cats to her parents' cabin in Finland, MN until she has the clear to head back home.

UPDATE Monday Evening - The Camp House Fire is currently burning over 1250 acres and is 0% contained. Gov Walz has called in the MN National Guard to assist with evacuations.
