Hey yall, if you don’t know me, my name is Sonya! I have an exciting opportunity from June 29 - November 28 to attend a Discipleship Training School (DTS) through YWAM in Queensland, Australia. It is a 5 month process & I couldn’t be more excited! I will have 3 months of lecture phase in Australia + 2 months of mission outreach to various places around the world - the location of which I will not know until a month or so into my DTS. The lecture phase will be an intensive deep dive into learning more about God & a preparation for me to serve him in a larger capacity for the rest of my life! The outreach phase is an adventure where we take the gospel to the unreached & the lost throughout the world. ️

Now that you know a little about YWAM, I hope that you will join me in prayerful support while I will be living in Australia. I know + believe that there is great power in prayer. Aside from prayer, as you can imagine an step of faith like this requires financial support. Three weeks before my school starts, I will need to pay my lecture phase fee of $3,100. Also the 2 month missions fee will also be around $4,100. On top of those fees, I need to purchase my flights to and from Australia, as well as necessary supplies that are needed for a mission endeavor such as this! I have set a goal to raise $8,500. Although this is a large amount of money, I am believing that God is going to provide as I step out on faith and work in the mission field for 5 months.
